How to Create a Campaign
Build from a Template or Build Your Own
From within your Campaigns tab, click 'Create Campaign.' You'll be prompted to create your Campaign with a template, or to build your own. If you choose a template, the Campaign Overview and Items will be pre-populated but can easily be customized for your Community!
Both experiences take you through the same steps - it's just a matter of whether you need a spark of an idea or already know what you want to create.
When you create a Campaign, you will go through the same steps of adding your Campaign Overview details and adding your Campaign Items. The only difference is that using a template gives you something to start with so that you can see how other customers use Campaigns and fill out their content!
Create or Update your Campaign Overview
In a Campaign Overview, this is where you can add the high-level information that will help engage your community members and share more information about your goals.

In a Campaign Overview, this is where you can add the high-level information that will help engage your community members and share more information about your goals. Remember that it can be edited at any time! The Overview includes this information -
Campaign Name
Give your Campaign a friendly name so that people know what they are participating in
Start and End Dates
Dates are not required and don't technically prevent someone from viewing or participating in the Campaign but indicate your timeline
Photo Gallery
Get your community members engaged to your purpose through images
About the Campaign
Share your Campaign's purpose or goal so that your community members understand what you're trying to achieve
Campaign Guidelines
Share any terms and conditions or guidelines that your community members should be aware of
Documents
Upload any documents to give more context or for any more information to be collected alongside a volunteer form
Create or Update Your Campaign Items
Campaign Items bring visibility to how community members can participate and highlights the generosity of those who have participated. Items break down what can be given back (Available) and what has been given back (Donated).
Update Items by modifying name, price, description, photos, and quantity.
Remove Items by clicking the red X button.
Add Items by clicking the Add Items in Bulk button at the bottom of the screen.
After you feel satisfied with the Items in bulk you want to create, click 'Create Campaign.'
Geo-Tag your Items on a Map
After you've created your Campaign Items, their location on the map will be the center of your community. The last step of creating a Campaign is geo-tagging your Items so your community members see where these opportunities are!
In your map view, select your pin, click Move Item, and drag your pin to the right location.
Post and Launch Your Campaign
Get your Campaign in front of as many community members as you can! You never know who is going to be inspired to give back.
- In the 'Edit Campaign Overview' pop-up, make sure your Campaign is Posted: Yes.
- Once Posted, click the Share icon to copy the link for this Campaign.
- Promote your Campaign! Share the Campaign link on your website, social media, newsletters, and more.
