About the Campaign:

🌭🥧 America 250 Competition Sign-Up 🎉🎆

The Village of Coal City invites you to take part in our America 250 Celebration Competitions! As part of this exciting community-wide event, participants of all ages can register to compete in one (or more) of our featured Stage 1 competitions: Hot Dog Eating, Popsicle Eating, and Pie Bakeoff.

Event Details

Date: June 20, 2026

Location: Stage 1

All pies must be brought in between 4:15pm and 5pm to the Village Hall. Judging will begin at 5:15pm at Stage 1.

These friendly competitions are designed to bring neighbors together for a day of laughter, tradition, and patriotic fun. Whether you’re competing, cheering someone on, or baking up your best family recipe, this is your chance to be part of Coal City history as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary.
