🦃🏃 Hobble Before You Gobble at the 2026 Gobble Hobble! 🍂👟

Start Thanksgiving morning with a Highland tradition! The Gobble Hobble is a fun, family-friendly 2-mile run/walk that brings the community together for some fresh air, movement, and Thanksgiving morning fun. Whether you’re racing for your best time, walking with family and friends, or simply looking for a great way to kick off the holiday, everyone is invited to join in.

Location: Korte Recreation Center, 1 Nagel Dr., Highland, IL 62249

The Gobble Hobble gives back to the Highland community. For the past three years, the event has participated in a Grant Sponsorship program, with portions of Gobble Hobble proceeds and sponsorship funding helping support an addition to a Highland park. By participating, runners and walkers can enjoy a favorite Thanksgiving tradition while helping make a positive impact right here in the community.
