Root Out the Rubbish: Earth Day Clean-Up
About the Campaign:
Join the City of Two Rivers Parks & Recreation Department for a community-wide Earth Day Clean-Up on April 25th to help keep our parks, neighborhoods, and public spaces beautiful. Volunteers will gather at one of three rally sites from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM to help pick up litter in nearby parks, streets, and public areas. Trash bags and a limited number of trash grabbers will be provided. Volunteers should wear clothes that can get dirty, bring work gloves if possible, and come prepared for almost any weather. This is a great opportunity for families, students, service groups, and community members to work together to improve our shared spaces.
Rally Locations (1:00–3:00 PM)
• Central Park West – Meet at the Bandstand
• Lakeshore Park (Lester Public Library) – Meet next to the playground
• Riverside Park – Meet at the Skatepark
Each location will have a volunteer Site Captain who will help coordinate the clean-up and provide instructions.
