About the Campaign:
Join us on Thursday, July 4th for an exciting evening in Historic Downtown Perry by volunteering at our Independence Day Celebration from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Volunteers will assist with event safety, street closures, and Police Department support to help ensure a fun and secure experience for all attendees.

It's a great way to give back to your community while being part of one of Perry’s biggest events of the year!

How To Participate

Volunteers will be tasked with assisting the Perry Police Department patrol the Firework Drop Zone to prevent pedestrian traffic from entering the safety area. Each volunteer will be assigned to a Perry Police Officer during the event.

Guidelines

  1. Must be available to work the entirety of the event.
  2. Shift Start Time: 6:00PM
  3. Shift End Time: 10:00PM
  4. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  5. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
  6. Must be reliable and have good communication skills.
