MEDINA 'BEE PARK' ART CONTEST

🗓️ February 11, 2026 - March 30, 2026

About the Campaign:

Overview:

Main Street Medina is working to convert an under-utilized space on South Broadway Street into a vibrant gathering place called the "Medina Bee Park", named as such, to recognize the City’s bee heritage. This project supports South Town revitalization, environmental awareness, and creative placemaking, while developing a welcoming space for residents and visitors.

Our exciting Art Contest aims to support this initiative, and celebrate and promote local & regional artistic talent, by providing a ‘first to Medina’ opportunity for outdoor, large format, public artwork.

Alongside pollinator-friendly planters, seating, lighting, and other elements, selected artwork will be enlarged on to a wall banner and become the central visual feature of the Bee Park.

A concept rendering for the gathering space was developed as part of a fundraising annual appeal and can be viewed at our website.

Location:

The 30’W x 20’H mesh banner will be mounted at 380 South Broadway Street, on the west side of the Medina Supply Building.

Submission Deadline:

Application & Concept Draft must be provided to Main Street Medina by 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday, March 30, 2026
