Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary in true community spirit by participating in Chewelah’s 4th of July Parade—a highlight of the city’s week-long America 250 celebration. This patriotic tradition brings together local businesses, organizations, families, and community groups for a festive showcase of pride, creativity, and hometown energy.

Date: July 4
Location: City of Chewelah, Washington

The parade will line up beginning at 9:30 AM on Clay Street in front of city hall, with the parade officially starting at 10:00 AM. From there, participants will turn right onto 4th street and then right on to Main Street near Yale, continue down Main Street to 2nd Street, turn right on 2nd, and then right on Clay Street where the parade will end and disperse. A map of the route is included for reference.

As one of the kickoff events of the America 250 celebration, the parade sets the tone for a week filled with connection, history, and celebration.
