Every fall, downtown comes alive with creativity, color, and a little friendly competition as local businesses transform their storefronts into a pumpkin gallery unlike any other. The Great Pumpkin Hunt is a beloved, family-friendly tradition that turns a stroll through the neighborhood into an adventure.

Businesses decorate their own pumpkins, give them creative names, and display them in their storefront windows for all to see. Families pick up an entry form at the Eureka Welcome Center, grab the map, and set off to find and identify every pumpkin along the route. Complete the form, return it to the Welcome Center, and you could walk away with a prize.

How It Works:

• Local businesses register, decorate a pumpkin, and display it in their window.
• Each pumpkin gets a creative name, displayed clearly so hunters can spot it from the sidewalk.
• Families pick up entry forms and maps at the Eureka Welcome Center October 24-31.
• Hunters follow the map, find the pumpkins, and return completed forms to receive fun prizes.
