Volunteer Forms
Learn about how you can engage and find volunteers for any initiative or event in your community!
Community Giving through Volunteerism
Community Giving is more than just donations and money - it also includes giving back time through volunteer activities. Our platform facilitates the entire volunteer process for you. In one place, your community members can view volunteer opportunities, claim their spot directly online, and be recognized for their participation.
Claiming Volunteer Slots through the Volunteer Form
As a reminder, each Available Item represents one individual giving opportunity - and in the case of volunteer services, each Item is one volunteer slot to be claimed by one person/group.
On any Item within a Volunteer Campaign, behind the 'Adopt this Item' button is a form link. When a community member fills out this form, a volunteer slot is considered claimed, and your 'QTY Remaining' decreases (when you have the Item marked as 'Grouped as One', which is recommended for volunteer events).
Customizing the Volunteer Form
The Volunteer form in its standard format captures basic information - name and contact information, and any comments or document uploads. If you would like to customize your form for your Community or for a particular Campaign, reach out to support@seemylegacy.com. We will work with you to customize the form and add any additional questions.
Viewing and Managing Volunteer Activity
When someone submits a form on a Volunteer Services form, it will create an entry in the Activity Log with information from the form submission, including the volunteer's contact information. This can be seen from within the Campaign's Activity Log, or from the Activity Log tab in your Community Profile.
Celebrating Volunteers with QR Plaques
To thank a volunteer for their giving, you can honor them through a Digital Story on a QR Plaque. Near the volunteer location, install any of our QR Plaques to showcase the Story of the volunteers who made it possible. We recommend using Story Boards to celebrate multiple volunteers in one story!
