The Power of Campaigns
With the Campaign tool, engaging your community members to give back to any program, initiative, or event becomes possible
A Campaign can be run for virtually anything but it always has a bigger purpose – empowering your community members to give back to what they love.
Your community members want to give back by:
- Dedicating and memorializing Items and spaces throughout the Community.
- Sponsoring the causes and initiatives they care about
- Providing free time and services to help with Community events and programs
Create Your Campaign Overview
Share information about the Campaign's purpose and details.
The Campaign Overview helps you share details with your community members.
Create Your Campaign Items
Items represent the individual opportunities for your community members to give back.
Each Item represents a single opportunity for a donor to give back, you can create multiple Items to support your Campaigns goals.
Here's recommendations on how to create items:
- Memorial Programs - Create an Item for each asset you want to be dedicated or commemorated; Items should be geo-tagged where the physical asset is located.
Example: A Memorial Bench Campaign with 8 Benches will have 8 Items - Sponsorship Opportunities - Create an Item for each sponsorship opportunity you want to offer; Items should sum to your campaign's total goal.
Example: Fundraising Campaign for $25,000 could have 1 Item for $25,000 or 5 Items at $5,000 a piece. - Volunteer Activities - Create one Item for each Volunteer you need; Items should be broken down by shifts or roles for volunteers.
Example: Volunteer Campaign that needs 10 Volunteers will have 10 Items.
You can create items with details in bulk using our Campaign Wizard.
Geo-Tagging Your Items
The last step of creating a Campaign is geo-tagging your Items:
- In your map view, select a pin, click Move Item and drag your pin to the right location.
Launch and Share Your New Campaign
Get your Community involved in giving back to this initiative or program.
Get your Campaign in front of as many community members as you can! You never know who is going to be inspired to give back.
- In the 'Edit Campaign Overview' pop-up, make sure your Campaign is Posted: Yes.
- Once Posted, click the Share button to copy the link for this Campaign.
- Promote your Campaign! Share the Campaign link on your website, social media, newsletters, and more.
