Understanding The Story Editor
Your Editor is made up of 3 panels to give you all the control and tools.
- Left: Manage Story name, pages, and uploads.
- Middle: Hosts your cover and pages - this is where you add your images and text.
- Right: High level information like: QR Plaque, Item, Status, and Contributors.
Creating Your Cover Page
The Cover Page is your reader’s first glimpse into your story.
- You can add a story title, photos, and a message
Adding Your Pages
Click the [+] icon to start adding your pages.
- Each page can have photo, caption, and links.
- You can have unlimited pages.
Managing Your Pages
Adding Pages
Add new pages by selecting the Plus Page Icon in your left panel, above an existing page, or under your last page.
Reordering Pages
Reorder your pages by clicking & dragging the page titles up or down in your left panel.
Deleting Pages
Delete your pages by clicking on the Trash Icon located top right of the pages.
Updating Your Story Status
When your story is complete and ready to be shared
- Set the status to Active
- Your Story will now be accessible through the QR Plaque and in your Community's Profile
Adding Contributors
Add others to help you share the story
- In the right panel click Add Contributor
- Fill in contact info and click Add
- You can add or remove contributors at anytime
Share Your Story
Your Story has a unique shareable website link
- Share it with your family, friends, and loved ones
- Share it on your social media/website
FAQs
Can I have other people help create my Story?
Yes! You can invite friends, family, or others as contributors to help. Use the Add Contributors section on the right panel. Whether it’s adding photos, memories, or helping refine the details, your story can be a shared effort.
How many pages can I add to my Story?
There’s no limit! You can add as many pages as needed to share the full story.
Who will be able to see my Story?
Once you've set your Story Status to Active anyone who scans the QR Plaque or views the Community's Profile can see your story.
Can I edit my Story after updating the Status to Active?
Absolutely! As long as the community has you as a collaborator, you can update, add, or remove content whenever you like—your Story evolves with you.
What kind of content can I include?
You can add text, images, and links to make your Story rich and engaging. The platform supports a variety of formats to bring your memories to life.
Why can't I edit my story?
If you are unable to edit your story, then your community has removed you as a collaborator.
